Genelia rues that soon after such baseless reports started flowing in, there was huge discord in her family and she had to explain that it was just baseless rumor.

She Further Says “I am not married to anyone. Whether I am in love with Ritesh or not is a personal matter. I don’t want to go into it. Rumours about women actors have become common, but the mention of marriage has complicated matters.

If I am marrying someone I don’t have to do it in secret. I am not a coward. I shall publicly announce before I get married.” We wish the rumour to be a rumour itself!..

Prabhu Deva to marry Nayan in December?

Celebrities at 80’s stars meet in Chennai -Photos

South Indian actors who enjoyed their prime status in 1980’s met at a special get together hosted by yesteryear’s glamourous actress Lissy (who acted as heroine in films opposite Suman like ‘ Atmabandhuvu’ ). The party was held on Sunday (August 29) night in Chennai and Chiranjeevi who is busy with politics in Andhra Pradesh specially flew down to attend this. Venkatesh who is shooting for Chandramukhi -2 in Bangalore also attended.

The guest list was pruned down to only heroes and heroines who had acted together during the 80’s. From Tamil filmdom, superstar Rajnikanth, Sharat Kumar, Arjun, Mohan, Karthik, Prabhu, Suhasini, Radhika, Poornima, Radha, Ambika and Nadiya attended. From Malayalam Mohan Lal and Shobhan were present while from Kannada industry, Sumalatha and Ambarish graced the occasion. From Telugu Chiru, Venky, Bhanuchandar, Naresh, Suresh and Suman were present.

Komaram Puli coming out on September 11th

It seems the wait is finally going to come to an end. We’ve got serious confirmation that ‘Komaram Puli’ will finally be released on September 11th. After initial hiccups with pre production delays, shoot postponements, post production hassles it seems the producers of ‘Komaram Puli’ are breathing easy this time.There were reports that A.R.Rahman’s background music too needs more time. However, it is believed that A.R.Rahman has promised to complete his part by this week end at any cost. Considering that the post production team needs atleast another 10 days to give final touches, it is expected that Komaram Puli will be released on September 11th.

Jyothi and Saira Banu arrested in brothel case!..

The hyderabad Task Force today arrested actresses Jyothi, Saira Banu, and Neela Mani in prostitution cases. A film producer Juvvala Raju, who runs this racket, has also been arrested. He produced B-Grade films like ‘L-Board’ and ‘Jaadugallu’. Overall, a total of nine people have been caught, along with a girl from Uzbekistan.

The Punjagutta police today raided a home in Kundanbagh in Begumpet area of Hyderabad today morning after a tip off. Incidentally, one of the arrested actresses, Saira Banu, is said to have missed being arrested in the recent ‘drug sale’ arrests conducted by the police. She acted in big films like ‘Bommarillu’ in small roles, and as a main heroine in B-grade films like – ‘Tik Tik Tik’, ‘Anaganaga Ok Aranyam’, ‘100 Kotlu’, ‘Aa Roje’

The other arrested woman, Jyothi acted in films like ‘Gudumba Shankar’, ‘Pellam Oorelithe’, ‘Evadi Gola Vadide’, ‘Haasini’, ‘Rambabu Gaadi Pellam’, etc.

This is the second time that the police conducted arrests of people related to Telugu film industry. All thearrested persons have been involved in very small roles in big films or have acted in B-Grade films. This only goes on to show how the show business affects people involved, when one isn’t ‘blessed’ with ‘big’ successes.

‘Money Money More Money’ to be launched on August 27th

Ramgopal Varma produced a comic caper of its own kind ‘Money’ in the year 1993. Later he also produced a sequel to it, ‘Money Money’ in 1995. And now, after 15 years Ramgopal Varma’s protégé J.D. Chakravarthy is going to direct a sequel soon. J.D.Chakravarthy incidentally starred in both ‘Money’ and ‘Money Money’.

Titled ‘Money Money More Money’ the film will go on to sets on August 27th. According to the actor-director this sequel will only feature two important characters - J.D.Chakravarthy and Brahmanandam, from the earlier parts of the film.

Another popular actor is also expected to be a part of the film. Our sources say that it could be actor Nitin, who has been planning a film with J.D.Chakravarthy for quite sometime now.

But we do hope that like its predecessors, even this film will be a laugh riot.

Mahesh Babu’s film with Sukumar confirmed!

If what we hear is true, Mahesh Babu has confirmed a film withSukumar. Actor Mahesh, after his three year long hiatus from films, is looking to make up with the lost time. Hence he has been listening to stories one after the other. Incidentally, all of them are top most directors of like – Rajamouli, Srinu Vytla, Meher Ramesh, Surender Reddy, Sukumar etc.

While some did take off, the others are in planning stages, and one has been called off. One such agreed film is going to be with director Sukumar. It is believed that Mahesh Babu wanted to immediately act in the film and 14 Reels even paid the advance.

However Mahesh Babu will first finish ‘Mahesh Khaleja’ and start shooting for Srinu Vytla’s next. Incidentally Srinu Vytla’s film too is produced by 14 Reels only.

That means they will release two Mahesh Babu films next year.

Srihari - Amma Rajashekhar movie starts

A film starring actor Srihari, and directed by famous choreographer Amma Rajashekhar started today at Ramanaidu stuodios. Produced on ‘Don Entertainment’ banner, film is being made by D.Linvingston. Amma Rajashekhar said that actor Srihari liked his story immediately after his narration.

Interestingly, Amma Rajashekhar also stars along with Srihari in the film. Aarthi Agarwal is paired up with Srihar, and new comer Ramya also makes Telgu entry. The first schedule of the film will continue at Ramanaidu Studios for another film

Music will be given by Manisharma and the camera responsibilities will rest with Sridhar. Srihari is presently doing a film, titled ‘Bhairava’ with actress Sindhu Tolani. ‘Bhairava’ is expected to be released soon. keep it in the list...
